Overview

This policy applies to all paid astrology consultation services purchased through this website. Because a reading involves bespoke intellectual work performed by Abhishek Soni, refund eligibility depends on how far that work has progressed at the time you request a refund.

  • Before delivery starts: 100%, requested within 24 hours of payment and chart computation has not begun.
  • Chart computed, reading not delivered: 50%, the birth chart has been computed but the written reading or live session has not yet been delivered.
  • After delivery: none, the reading has been delivered. See the exception for acknowledged errors below.

Before delivery, full refund

If you request a refund within 24 hours of payment and chart computation has not yet started, you are entitled to a full refund of the amount paid. To request, email hello@abhisheksoni.in with the subject line "Refund - [your invoice number]". We will acknowledge within one business day.

Partial refund, chart computed, reading not yet delivered

If the birth chart has been computed (which constitutes a significant portion of the work) but the written reading or live session has not yet been delivered, we will refund 50% of the amount paid. The same email process applies: write to hello@abhisheksoni.in with subject "Refund - [invoice number]".

After delivery, no refund; re-delivery for factual errors

Once the reading has been delivered, no monetary refund is available. The reading is the deliverable; it represents custom intellectual work that cannot be "returned".

However, if you identify a factual error that we acknowledge, specifically where we used incorrect birth data that differs from the data you submitted, we will re-perform the reading at no additional cost. This exception does not apply where the error stems from incorrect data you supplied at intake. Please raise such a concern within 30 days of receiving your reading by emailing hello@abhisheksoni.in or using the grievance page.

Consumer Protection Act 2019

Under section 2(34) of the Consumer Protection Act 2019, you have the right to complain about a deficient service. If you believe the service delivered is deficient and our internal grievance process has not resolved the matter to your satisfaction, you may approach the District Consumer Disputes Redressal Forum at Nagpur. Our internal grievance mechanism is the recommended first step. We are committed to resolving complaints within 30 days.

Refund processing time

Approved refunds are processed through Razorpay to the original payment method within 5 to 10 business days of our confirmation. The actual credit date depends on your bank or card issuer and is outside our control once we initiate the refund. You will receive an email confirmation when the refund is initiated, including the Razorpay refund reference number.

Service delivery policy

All services offered on this website are digital: readings are delivered electronically via WhatsApp or email. There is no physical shipment, so standard courier or shipping terms do not apply. Written readings are delivered within five business days of confirmed payment; live consultation sessions are scheduled within seven business days. If we anticipate a delay, we will contact you proactively and offer the option of a full refund.

How to request a refund

Email hello@abhisheksoni.in with the subject: "Refund - [invoice number]".

  • Include your name, the email address used at booking, the invoice number (found in your payment confirmation), and a brief description of the reason.
  • Alternatively, use the grievance page and select "Billing" as the category.
